Abutting this parcel, is over 100 acres of land owned by The Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) that is currently accepting bids to be redeveloped. There may be an opportunity for the developer of the Osprey View site to collaborate with the CCPRC or bid on their RFP to greatly expand the scale of this project so long that CCPRC’s goals and initiates are met.

The Osprey View Site was part of an EPA Voluntary Cleanup Contract (VCC) entitled the Wando-Osprey VCC, which was executed on June 21, 2018.

Additionally, current ownership is in receipt of a Phase II ESA that comments on the response action taken to satisfy the VCC.
